We devise computational schemes that faithfully incorporate biological concepts such as cellular organization, genome-based coding and expression, cell
growth, death and division, and signaling. Our efforts have resulted in enabling technologies for high fidelity tissue models displaying emergent properties such as homeostasis, dynamic responses to stimuli, and repair from injury.
Besides recent work modeling
breast cancer mechanisms
and
lymphocyte lineage committment,
we continue to validate new models against various independent in vivo and in vitro results.
